Program Type: Transactional SMS Notifications (Non-Marketing)

Purpose: This page provides public verification of our SMS opt-in process for compliance with TCPA, CTIA guidelines, and carrier requirements.

📬 What SMS Messages We Send

Kestrel Voice sends transactional notifications only to account holders. We do NOT send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages.

Missed Call Alerts

Notify you when your AI agent handles a call

"Kestrel: New call from (555) 123-4567. Your AI agent answered. View summary: [link]. Reply STOP to opt-out."

Contact Form Submissions

Alert when someone reaches out via your public profile

"Kestrel: New contact from John Doe via your profile. Check dashboard: [link]. Reply STOP to opt-out."

Account & Billing Alerts

Critical account updates and payment reminders

"Kestrel: Your payment method will expire soon. Update at [link]. Reply STOP to opt-out."

⚠️ All messages include sender identification (Kestrel) and opt-out instructions (STOP).

✅ How to Opt-In (Step-by-Step)

IMPORTANT: SMS notifications are DISABLED BY DEFAULT. You must explicitly opt-in to receive text messages.

Log in to Your Dashboard

Access your Kestrel Voice account at app.kestrelvoice.com

Navigate to Settings

Go to: Settings → Notifications → SMS Settings

Enable SMS Notifications

Toggle the switch from OFF (gray) to ON (blue)

Enable SMS Notifications

Currently: OFF

Enter Your Phone Number

Provide your mobile phone number in the input field

U.S. phone numbers only

Agree to Consent Terms

Check the required consent checkbox with the following language:

Save Your Settings

Click the "Save Settings" button to activate SMS notifications

Your consent is recorded with timestamp and IP address for compliance purposes.

🛑 How to Opt-Out (Unsubscribe)

You can stop receiving SMS notifications at any time using either method:

💬Method 1: Text STOP

Reply with the word "STOP" to any SMS from Kestrel Voice.

You: STOP
Kestrel: You have been unsubscribed from SMS notifications. You will not receive further messages.

⚙️Method 2: Dashboard

Log in and toggle OFF in Settings → Notifications

  1. Go to your dashboard
  2. Click Settings → Notifications
  3. Toggle "Enable SMS Notifications" to OFF
  4. Click Save

✅ After opting out, you will immediately stop receiving SMS notifications. Your opt-out preference is recorded in our system.
