Set up your AI voice agent in under 10 minutes

Introduction

KestrelVoice is an AI-powered voice operations platform designed specifically for HVAC and home service businesses. Our platform handles incoming calls 24/7, books appointments, routes emergencies, and integrates seamlessly with your existing tools.

What You'll Need

  • A KestrelVoice account (sign up at kestrelvoice.com)
  • Your business information (name, service areas, hours)
  • Optional: ServiceTitan or Jobber account for CRM integration

Setup Guide

Create Your Account

Sign up at kestrelvoice.com/signup and choose your plan. All plans include a 20 free credits monthly when you purchase a phone number.

1. Visit kestrelvoice.com/signup
2. Enter your email and create a password
3. Select your plan (Personal, Business, or Business Plus)
4. Complete payment setup

Configure Your AI Agent

Navigate to Settings → AI Agent to configure your voice agent's personality, business information, and service areas.

  • Business Info: Company name, industry, service areas
  • Business Hours: Set your operating hours and timezone
  • AI Personality: Choose professional, friendly, or custom tone
  • Emergency Keywords: Configure emergency detection (gas leak, no heat, etc.)

Get Your Phone Number

Purchase a dedicated phone number for your AI agent or forward your existing number.

Option 1: Purchase New Number

Go to Settings → Phone Numbers and select a local number in your service area. Includes 20 free credits monthly.

Option 2: Forward Existing Number

Set up call forwarding from your current business line to your KestrelVoice number. See our forwarding guide.

Optional: Connect Your CRM

Integrate with ServiceTitan or Jobber to automatically create jobs and sync customer data.

Make Your First Test Call

Once your AI agent is configured, test it to ensure everything works correctly.

Test Call Checklist

  • Call your KestrelVoice number

    Verify the AI answers and greets you correctly

  • Test appointment booking

    Ask to schedule a service appointment

  • Test emergency detection

    Mention an emergency keyword (e.g., "gas leak")

  • Check call logs

    Review the call in your dashboard with transcript and recording
